Job Description

The Product Manager, Patient and allied Health Care Provider (aHCP) Marketing, Oncology, is a key position within the Oncology Marketing team, and will report to the Senior Director, Marketing, Bladder Indication Lead. This role will be responsible for leading and executing mUC marketing initiatives to support patients, caregivers and allied Health Care Providers. This role will require close partnership with the Bladder HCP Marketing Director and the Breast Marketing Team. In addition to supporting the current mUC Accelerated Approval indication, this person will also be responsible for significant cross-functional collaboration as well as advertising and promotional agency management as the team prepares for the full US approval in metastatic urothelial cancer.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead development and execution of mUC patient promotional activities in collaboration with brand team and multiple cross-functional partnersWork with consumer advertising agency, media agency, and NPP lead to create/optimize targeted marketing materials to support mUC patients and caregiversLead development and deployment of mUC materials for Oncology Nurse EducatorsPartner with ONE leadership and field team to understand mUC needs and optimize contentEffectively manage agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and budgetGain approval of marketing materials through the internal promotional review committee process, collaborating closely with medical, legal and regulatoryContinually monitor environment and leverage market research/analytics to optimize marketing plan and tacticsManage print production and marketing material inventory management processes for patient and ONE materialsDevelop and deliver written and oral presentations to a range of internal (US leadership team, field sales) and external audiencesAdditional responsibilities as identified by business needsEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policiesAbility to travel up to 30% domestically, for events, sales meetings and field rides with the oncology specialists

Basic Qualifications:

High School Degree and Eleven Years Experience

OR

Associates Degree and Nine Years Experience

OR

Bachelor's Degree and Seven Years Experience

OR

Masters' Degree and Five Years Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA preferredStrategic thinking with the ability to formulate, develop and execute tacticallyStrong cross functional collaboration within a matrix organizationThe ability to pivot, make recommendations with dynamic information and be flexible in a high-energy, high driving environmentDemonstrate leadership excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects and priorities, including working closely with agenciesExperience in implementing a pharmaceutical brand plan of actionDemonstrated understanding of expense budget planning, tracking and measurement/ROIDemonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials

The salary range for this position is: $143,225.00 - $185,350.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
