is seeking a

UX/UI Designer

who is an expert in UI design, UX design, and front-end development to join our growing company. You will be natural at understanding human-computer interaction design (HCID), in coming up with elegant solutions to improve our application, and in developing on. (tech stack: e.g., a modern JavaScript framework)

What you will do

Conduct research and deconstruct our users’ digital interactions and habitsCome up with UI and UX strategies based on our target goalsCreate and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using

(Design and prototyping tools: e.g., Sketch and InVision)Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS codeUnderstand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessaryWhat you need to have

Bachelor's Degree and 8 to 10 years of experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience)Experience working and developing applications in modern JavaScript libraries such as Vue, React, and AngularA portfolio or live examples of code producedKnowledge of pre-processors/transpilers such as PUG/SCSS/BabelExperience working with NodeJSExperience with GIT and familiarity with code versioning practices on large teams, i.e., branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, etc.Experience with C# or .NET technologies would be helpful but not requiredProficient with image authoring tools like Photoshop or IllustratorProficient with wireframing/design tools like Mock Plus, Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XDA portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.)Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor toolsExpert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practicesProficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using (Sketch, InVision, Axure, etc)Proficiency in using Git version controlProficiency using the command lineWhat we'd like you to have
