The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and develop web applications. This position involves developing scalable web applications, possess a deep understanding of web technologies, and expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure.
Essential Functions
1. Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using PHP, MySQL, Redis, AJAX, and Laravel.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the applications meet business requirements.
3. Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2 S3, EDS, and Elastic Beanstalk.
4. Manage projects along the process from planning to deployment, ensuring that deadlines and budget constraints are met.
5. Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and support as needed.
6. Stay up to date with emerging trends in web technologies and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.
7. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
8. Continuously improve development processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality.
9. Develop and maintain documentation for applications, including code comments and technical specifications.
Competencies
1. Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Redis, AJAX, JAVA, CSS3, Laravel Framework technologies.
2. Expertise in AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Elastic Beanstalk.
3. Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

1. Bachelors in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
2. A minimum of five (5) years of web development experience.
3. AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer (preferred).
4. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes (preferred).
5. Experience with version control systems such as Git (preferred).
6. Must be able to read, write and speak English
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position does not manage employees of the department and is not responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
