Director Product Marketing
What Will You Do?
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Product Marketing to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for various product categories in the home furnishings industry, including but not limited to Living Room Furniture, Kids Furniture, Outdoor Furniture, Motion Furniture, and Mattresses. The Director of Product Marketing will be responsible for launching new product programs and overseeing new product introductions. They will lead the development of seasonal catalogs and work in partnership with the Merchandising Team to align product content calendars to drive product awareness for both stores and site. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.
Lead the develop of marketing strategies and campaigns for various product categories in the home furnishings industry.Launch new product programs and oversee new product introductions.Lead the development of seasonal catalogs to support both the seasonal trends and featured product stories.Develop and align product content calendars with the Merchandising Team to drive product awareness for both stores and site.Partner with the organic social team to develop product stories to feature in organic social posts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Retail, E-commerce, Merchandising, Product Development, Creative, and Supply Chain.Monitor and analyze product performance metrics and KPIs and adjust strategies as necessary.Make employment decisions and/or recommendations on hiring, improvement plans, transfers, promotions, corrective actions, terminations, pay adjustments, etc.Communicate company and departmental issues and goals and facilitate employee growth and development through weekly team meetings, regular individual employee meetings, coaching, training, and company-offered learning opportunities.Manage resources to optimize equipment, facilities, employees, methods, and materials.Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.What Do You Need?
8+ years of experience in Marketing, RequiredManagement experience, RequiredBachelor Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience, RequiredProduct Marketing experience, PreferredStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsEffective time management and organizational skillsWork independently as well as in a team environmentDocument management systemAnalytical and problem solving skillsMaintain confidentialityWorking knowledge of Continuous ImprovementHandle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraintsProficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, internetPerform under strong demands in a fast-paced environmentWork professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respectDisplay empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customersRespond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiriesWho Are We?
