The Marketing Assistant is an integral part of the marketing team responsible for facilitating the smooth implementation of the firm's ongoing marketing processes at the direction of the Marketing Manager and the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities:
As an important member of the marketing team, the marketing assistant's primary role is facilitating the smooth operation of the marketing department's processes and activities. The marketing assistant is a shared resource between the marketing and business development functions of the marketing department whose duties include but are not limited to the following as directed by the marketing manager or director:
Coordinates communicationsCoordinates schedules and travelDatabase managementDocumentation and reportingProposal development administrative supportPrinting and bindingPresentation preparation assistanceMetrics tracking
Manages the marketing events calendar and plans marketing eventsManages and maintains marketing supplies inventory and equipmentMaintains CRM systems data (Deltek Vision)Maintains social media platforms and postsCoordinates work with outside vendors and teaming partnersPerforms other marketing related assignments at the direction of the Marketing Manager or Director
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma
3 Years experience a plus.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Familiar with desktop publishingAbility to multi-task, work under pressureStrong commitment to quality service and attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong interpersonal skills with all levels of staffStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skillsSelf-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
Other Desired Qualifications/Competencies:
An associates or bachelor's degreeUnderstanding of Deltek Vision and/or Cosential information management systemsGraphic design capability using Adobe Creative Suite
