We are looking for an

Associate Director/Director of Marketing for Mito Disease/TK2d therapy , who is strategic, and tactical, and has experience in Rare diseases to join our Marketing Strategy team based in our Atlanta office in Smyrna, GA. Please note this is a hybrid position located near one of three UCB's HUBs, Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA., with the ability to travel to existing UCB sites, external engagements, and congresses as needed.

About the role:

As the

Associate Director/Director of US Mito Disease/TK2d Marketing , you'll support the development and execution of the US brand marketing strategy, helping to launch UCB into the new world of ultra-rare disease. You will develop and oversee the execution of unbranded (disease awareness) and branded Patient and HCP marketing tactics to support pre-launch and launch objectives. You will help to establish UCB as a trusted leader that is pioneering a new future for TK2d patients and empowering the TK2d community through demonstrated commitment, communication transparency, and true partnership. This role will work in close partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure launch plans align with US priorities, strategic direction, and market dynamics. This position reports to the Head of US Mito Disease/TK2d Marketing.

Who you'll work with:Key external stakeholders across the care ecosystem, including patients, caregivers, HCP KOLs, diagnosing HCPs, and treating HCPsUCB internal cross-functional stakeholders inclusive of patient services, sales, market research, and trainingExternal agency partners and institutionsWhat you'll do:

Directly contribute to the development and execution of the US marketing launch strategy for doxecitine and doxribtimine (MT1621 program) in the treatment of TK2dLead the development, execution, and implementation of patient marketing initiatives and support key HCP strategic marketing activities - branded and unbrandedManage the implementation of new targeted solutions for patient audiences across personal and non-personal promotion channels to increase disease awareness and diagnosis, and to enhance the patient experienceSupport the ongoing alignment of strategy and resource to encompass the needs of the patient-facing teams in the Patient Support Program organizationPartner with training to support ongoing communication and pull through with customer facing teamsCapture/refine customer insights and leverage them across brand/tactical plans and development of materialsAnalyze KPIs to determine the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and recommend optimizationsSupport to the development of the annual brand plan including the identification of large-scale initiatives and tactics to support pre-launch and launch objectivesChampion the understanding of the mitochondrial/TK2d market dynamics and improvement of the TK2d patient and provider experienceCo-manage external agency partners to ensure objectives are met on time and within budgetInterested? For this role, we're looking for the following required education, experience, and skills

Bachelor's degree required10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales or marketing or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the U.S.Rare disease experienceStrong understanding and experience supporting the development/execution of consumer and HCP marketing strategies and tactics drive disease awareness and adherenceEnjoys working in a collaborative, remote environment and as part of a high-functioning teamAbility to manage several large complex projects simultaneously from beginning to endWillingness/ability to travel to HQ and domestically as neededPreferred:

1+ years of launch experience in pharmaceutical/biotechMBA or other advanced degree relating to operations, strategy, or marketingStrategic thinker with strong business acumen and demonstrated financial and presentation skills
