Developer Marketing Manager

We're looking for a savvy marketer to help us build our developer marketing program. The ideal candidate will have experience marketing to developers; attracting them to the platform, engaging them from beginner to expert, and enabling them to promote our platform to their own clients. This role will be responsible for highlighting how our products fit into the overall platform story, building strategies to communicate how developers build and grow with PayPal.PayPal believes that a platform is only as good as the developers building for it. The ideal candidate for this role will be familiar with the developer ecosystem, as well as knowledge around how e-commerce sellers and platforms operate. This person will ensure that we build valuable products and services, highlighting PayPal as a leader in this space. The ideal candidate will be a solutions-oriented, collaborative leader who brings energy and insight, leading the charge to help developers excel in eCommerce. This individual will deliver marketing communications, programs, events, campaigns, thought leadership, and more to build awareness, increase developer engagement, and deliver measurable impact to the business.The Impact You Will HaveDefine the best approach to launch new products and effectively communicate the latest updates and innovations at PayPal by understanding product strategy, developers goals and motivations, and market trendsHave a deep understanding of developers and competitive landscapes, educating internal teams accordinglyLeverage a strong understanding of our developer audience, user segmentation, product roadmap, market trends and strategy to shape our vision for the futureDrive successful campaigns, messaging, and cross-marketing efforts to engage developers around the worldApproach campaigns from a developer perspective to better influence product adoption and growthIdentify, monitor, and analyze performance, adjusting and optimizing strategies based on resultsQualifications5-7 years of relevant combined experience in developer marketing, technology, or strategy consultingDeveloper marketing experience and knowledge of this audience, with the ability to contribute at strategic, operational and tactical levelsCross-functional marketing leadership with a track record of delivering on high-impact goalsExperience managing cross-functional senior stakeholder relationshipsProven track record working across multiple marketing channelsExperience launching products and campaigns globallyExperience optimizing growth funnels and achieving goalsComfort with being a flexible, cross-functional team player in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environmentProven experience crafting effective developer-facing messaging and contentExcellent written and verbal communication skills
