At Mitchell and Ness, we've experienced a period of change, growth and subsequently new direction which has resulted in the need to find synergies and efficiencies across our business. To continue to operationalize new business opportunities we are searching for a highly experienced Brand Narrative & Consumer Direct Marketing, Sr Manager to work closely with our GTM team, key internal stakeholders, and external partners. This person will have an immediate impact on our brand narrative and consumer focused story telling by leading the creative voice that expresses the heart and soul of the M&N brand, leveraging brand legacy, products, and services to inspire our consumer!

This role will lead and champion creative concepts and storytelling aligned to the strategic direction of the brand. As a critical part of the organization, this person also partners with internal partners across functions of Product, Merchandising, Creative/Design, Sales, and E-Commerce, etc. to align and implement critical priorities and plans across Mitchell & Ness functions.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Will lead and champion creative concepts and storytelling across M&N aligned to the Global Brand Vision and strategic direction.Lead efforts to connect the dots between sport, culture and ecommerce and find the common ground between a brand and its consumers.Partner closely with GTM and Ecommerce Leads to deliver a cohesive, consistent, and compelling brand voice, brand building and product narratives.Leads complex workstreams independently and direct others to develop well-crafted narrative that expresses the heart and soul of the M&N brand, using storytelling, products, and services to encourage our consumer!Works from strategy through concept and finishing with premium executions at all levels across all channels, always thinking about the next click.Understanding of the nuances across all digital social landscapes and speaking to the audiences appropriately (Twitter, IG, TikTok, etc.) Capable of conceptual writing to a product.Juggling multiple projects at the same time, maintaining good communication and planning with clear focus on setting the team up for success.Lead and own workstreams whilst also empowering those directly reporting and cross-functional partners to drive their own work independently.Communicate concepts to various internal and external audiences.As a creative lead, responsible with taking on feedback from various partners and driving the development of work to ensure that all work is delivered on time.Working closely with the creative leadership team, responsible for shaping the future voice and storyline of the brand across every M&N consumer touchpoint.Encouraging and leading innovative thinking, collaboration, and teamwork will also provide ideas.Good understanding of consumer behavior.Significant relative consumer knowledge in sports, fashion, and lifestyle.Proficient in long and short form writing • Being able to embody M&N's voice and push it when necessary.A style of writing that embraces a tone of inspiration, authenticity, and freshness that influence and drive standard methodologies throughout our function.Lead and mentor others, encouraging and guiding their growth through considered and consistent feedback rewarding their achievements whilst also recognizing their opportunities to develop.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS / ABILITIES:Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field; or 10+ years of work experience in sports licensing, fashion, relationship management, or relevant consumer product industry.A minimum of 10 years creative experience in a brand marketing, editorial, content marketing or related creative field.Experience working in, and the ability to navigate a highly matrixed environment.Excellent organizational leadership and communication skills.Ability to lead a team in order to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, adapt to change, and maintain composure and morale under pressure.Experience managing and mentoring team members to deliver their full potential.Good experience in managing agencies and internal partners to deliver the highest caliber work.Proven experience leading photography and video/film productions; form pre-production, to on-set leadership and post-production.Ability to work well with geographically dispersed teams.Proven origination of innovative storytelling across multiple categories.Leadership and team management skills Good understanding of interactive communication.Maintains a positive and professional attitude towards the team, cross-functional partners, vendors, and clients.Ability to work with a diverse group of people & drive cross-functional alignment to deliver business results.Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and influence a team to clarity and results through this.Passionate, curious problem solver.Ability to travel up to 30% of the job.Sports fan required!
