Job Description:

Expertise and Skills You HaveDegree or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related field strongly desired

Print production experience strongly desired

Five to seven years of project management experience preferred

Minimum of three years Defined Contribution and writing experience preferred

Series 7 and 63 is required and must be acquired within 120 days

Fidelity experience preferred

Content Development:

Review and analyze plan-specific materials to resolve creative solutions in meeting client’s unique communications needs. Routinely develop custom integrated marketing campaigns (i.e. DB) to address client-specific goals. Work as a member of a team of experts to effectively deliver complex communication projects.

Production/Cost Management

Support day to day production management of client communications including project planning, scheduling, execution, issue resolution, and reporting and reconciliation. Consult and provide production recommendations based on project specifications, design features, cost considerations and equipment capabilities. Solicit quotes, estimates and select appropriate vendor for job based on project specifications and timelines. Facilitate and provide inventory management oversight for assigned client portfolio.

Project Management:

Independently lead creation of standard or custom educational materials to support several client projects. Own the technical, peer review, proofreading, legal, design and client edit/review cycles, including all vital follow-ups. Identify risks proactively and develop alternatives to ensure timely resolution.

Client Management/Satisfaction:

Participate in and lead client meetings and/or projects.

Business Initiatives:

Support, and in some instances, leads overall business improvement initiatives to improve quality, reduce cost, and improve service. Participate in cross market initiatives and represent Communications, Education and Operations’ larger scale initiatives.

The TeamThe Sr. Communications Production Manager (Sr. CPM) is responsible for handling production workflow of Workplace Investing (WI) communication materials for large size implementations, corporation actions and ongoing Strategic clients. Plans are typically complex, integrated and multi-practice (Health and Welfare & Defined Benefit). This manager will develop insight and understanding of the client’s communication strategy as well as providing production consultative support and recommendations to the Client Service Team and/or client. The Sr. CPM will be responsible for oversight of daily print production, inventory management, and issue resolution. This area of focus includes the management and execution of both one time mailing materials and ongoing kit management. They will have ownership for procedure development and maintenance of policies and controls. The Sr. CPM will coordinate with various business partners and collaborate with management to identify & lead process improvement opportunities.Certifications:
