Overview

TULA Skincare is looking for a Creative Director with a passion for beauty, culture & visual storytelling to steward the brand aesthetic and drive commercial success from strategy to hands-on execution. The future Creative Director will enjoy working in fast-paced settings and be passionate about creating and executing elevated, engaging and insights-based creative work that builds connections with consumers and drives demand.

This role reports to the VP of Brand.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the team in developing on-brand, high-performing & insights-based creativePartner with VP of Brand to define the overall visual strategy for the brand across every consumer touchpoint across online and offline channels including a brand design system and campaign toolkitsGrow & develop our digital design, retail and experiential design and copy team leads - effectively resource & support their success as they realize their creative visions, define process & workflows, scale capabilitiesBuild, own & deliver against a creative budget, strategically allocating resources for campaign photography, freelance talent, technology & tools, and other investments to drive our business priorities forward

Ensure that the TULA brand is presented in a clear, cohesive manner, supporting all business & brand objectives across a global omnichannel landscapeEstablish best practices and process for day to day operations of creative team & partner with Senior Director of Marketing on campaign execution, ensuring that creative is meeting strategic goals & executing on timelinesDevelop strategies & best practices to continually develop commercially successful assets & evolve the brand's expression in partnership with e-commerce and retail/sales leadersEnsure that the team is creatively inspired, engaged & motivated by the strength of the work they are putting into marketEnsure successful execution of campaign photo shootsBring in new creative ideas and digital / visual trendsRequirements

10+ years of professional experience in a creative environment including managing a team, leading cross-platform design projects & creating assets for beauty or a CPG brandDeep brand expertise- either as a creative director in house or at an agency responsible for brand developmentAbility to work cross-functionally with partners across the organization including sales, brand, digital and integrated marketingExcellent communication skills, strong team leadership skillsExperience with relevant tools: Figma,Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesignExperience concepting & managing photo and video productionAbility to work in a fast-paced setting, under tight deadlines, with time management skillsComfortable working both autonomously and collaborativelyPassion for beauty, aesthetics and bringing a brand's vision to lifeMust have a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience
