Please note that a hybrid work environment is available once training is completed - 3 days in the Houston Office (Gessner Rd) and 2 days remote.

The Wholesale Marketing Director is responsible for the monthly and daily execution of all natural gas supply for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers directly connected to natural gas transportation pipelines, including but not limited to contracts, transportation, and inventory positions. This position is responsible for managing contractual commitments of natural gas wholesale sales as well as hedging and purchasing the physical natural gas optimized for lowest cost.

Responsibilities

Supply Leadership

Develop clear vision, goals, and objectives for the supply and distribution of natural gas that support company goals and objectives and keep team members focused on high performanceBuild strong relationships within Mansfield Oil and with suppliers to achieve supply and distribution department goalsBuild strong relationships with all departments within Mansfield Oil and its subsidiaries to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and decision makingDevelop and Implement weather normalization process for weather sensitive retail loadsDevelop and Implement retail natural gas pricing and transportation modelsProvide regular review of pricing and transportation models to assure profitability and improvementImplement a strategy for the supply and distribution of natural gas to examine and improve key processes used every dayProvide regular review of supply and distribution sources to identify areas for improvementDevelop and execute strategies to drive supply optimizationProvide a regular feedback strategy for the department to evaluate results and make improvementDevelop clear departmental strategies to achieve measurable and financial goalsManage P&L to meet or exceed budget goalsCreate high impact reportingProvide relevant reports and presentations to executive management to help drive successful decision making for the company in the futureCreate clear, timely, and accurate reports with direct reports to effectively assess and improve performanceOptimization and Execution

Oversee department with objective of lowest daily costChallenge procurement rules assuring lowest daily supply cost and transportation costsCollaborating with sales to achieve optimal margins and sales for MansfieldWork with risk department and operations to guarantee all information is captured within the MPG system of recordPosition Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree requiredMBA preferredKnowledge & Experience

Ten-fifteen years of leadership experience in retail natural gasProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteQualifications & Characteristics
