Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Director with strong creative writing skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in crafting inspiring letters, reports, stories, articles, and more with minimal direction. Experience in stewardship/donor relations and nonprofit sectors will be highly valued. Under guidance from Foundation leadership and/or more Sr. Officers, develop and implement strategies for creating effective relationships with prospects and donors. Responsible, as assigned, for prospect identification and solicitation, proposal development, and coordination of support activities (e.g. mailings, events, etc.). Entry level professional fundraiser.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience beyond the work experience requirement may be substituted for the degree on a 2 years of experience for 1 year of education basis.Minimum of two (2) years in event planning, fundraising, communications or related experienceMust have knowledge and experience in using Microsoft productsMust have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, confidentiality and public speaking skillsMust have own transportation (to travel to events)Proficiency in Canva or similar design platforms for creating visually appealing collateral strongly preferredStewardship/Donor Relations and/or nonprofit experience will be HIGHLY weighted in the decisionAdaptable and comfortable working with our team, hospital staff, patients, leadership, donors, trustees, etc.
