The Marketing Coordinator is a generalist who uses strong writing, communication, organizational, and tactical advertising skills to support a diverse array of marketing and communications projects primarily focused on brand awareness and enrollment. The Marketing Coordinator provides direct support to senior members of the Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

Update and edit the campus calendar in support of event promotion and internal communications.Coordinate, update and schedule promotional content for digital screens around campus.Write copy and content for brochures, landing pages, ads, social media, websites, videos, university newsletters, and other media, as assigned.Write stories for the Florida Tech Magazine.Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team to execute multi-channel marketing and advertising campaigns.Conduct environmental scans, ad-hoc fact finding, and other types of marketing research to support the launch of new programs and services.Provide support to internal clients who seek support from the Marketing office.Support on-campus and local off-campus events that require Marketing's participation.Requirements:

Knowledge of best practices in creative writing, non-fiction writing, copywriting and marketing is preferred.Experience, knowledge of, and/or affinity for higher education is a plus.A bachelor's degree is required, with preference for majors in English, communications, creative writing, advertising, journalism, marketing, film/video, new media, or business.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report

The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information, and imposes certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.

Florida Tech's 2023 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech; and on public properly within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.

The numbers provided include crime statistics that were reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.

The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures; descriptions of prevention and awareness programs; related university procedures and important guidance; and other essential safety information.

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.
