We are currently hiring Senior News Producers to join our International Digital Channel, TRT Espanol in Istanbul, Turkey.

Key Responsibilities

Research content and formats and come up withideas,

Look out and keep a breast of trends and internet subcultures,

Experiment with any new format on emerging or existing platforms,

Identify and execute novel ways to use native platform features to aid storytelling,

Produce written and video news packages for digital publication,

Provide digital content for all platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter,

Manage workflow to meet digital deadlines,

Develop and pitch story ideas with compelling angles and with solid research to back them up.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field,

Minimum 6 years of experience in digital media or related field,

Perfect command of Spanish with strong writing skills,

Good command of English,

Experience in foreign news is preferred,

Proven track of experience in content productionon news or social media,

Proven track of success in script writing, producingand preferably, presenting,

Sound judgment and ethical decision-making skills, with a commitment to accuracy, fairness, and journalistic integrity,

Strong time management skills,

Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities,

Ability to stay calm under pressure and takes smart editorial decisions on big news events,

A strong grasp of digital video and text production as well the knowledge of doing stories from start to finish, carrying it from the pitch stage to edit to delivery is a must,

Have strong editing skills and is able to spotand fix issues related to grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style,

Being up to date with the latest developments.
