About Hollywood Park Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space. The role of the Event Technical Specialist will support and execute all major events including the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, and all private events, while maintaining relationships with appropriate internal departments, vendors, contractors, and agencies required for the completion of each project. More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To...

Assist with the planning for Hollywood Park, SoFi Stadium, and the YouTube Theater major and private eventsAttending event meetings on behalf of Broadcast Operations and reporting back all needs for productionAttending site visits to coordinate event needsObtaining all information needed to process accurate quotesCoordinating and attending meetings with event leads and clients as neededAttending the coordinated event as neededAssist reviewing upcoming calendar of events and verify and assign resources of operators, equipment, and utilitiesAssist with logistics with part-time crew, meals, deliveries, visitor protocols, and vendorsWork with Broadcast Operations team to manage scheduling logistics with vendors and other traveling broadcast personnelFollowing-up with internal and external quotes, receipts, and invoicesTroubleshooting labor submissions, invoices, and all reported information submitted for each eventAssist with event settlementsAssist with coordinating any team training with vendorsCreating and updating department forms, maps, and diagrams for internal and external events as neededCoordinating digital assets that are submitted for all eventsAssisting with restocking/organizing office supplies, merchandise, and break area as neededSupport department with special projectsAssist with post event reportingWe'd Love to Hear From People With...

Bachelor's Degree emphasis in Video Production or Administrative5-10 years' work experience in video and live productionExperience working in Sports EntertainmentKnowledge of live broadcast productions equipment and workflowKnowledge of FileMakerGoogle Sheets, Docs and Slides (or related business software solutions)Develop and maintain professional business relationships with our clients and partnersLead meetings, provide updates and communicate clearlyFlexible in working hours including nights, weekends and holidays when neededAbility to adjust responsibilities as we develop new opportunitiesMust be flexible, proactive, personable, a team player, have a positive attitude, a self-starter, ability to think on your feet and anticipate issues before they arise, detail oriented with the ability to communicate within the department and all departments at Hollywood ParkEffective and strong verbal and written skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsMust exercise a high level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive informationAbility to work within strict deadlinesDemonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDesire to learn new technology and systemsMac OS1 year experience with administrative workAbility to understand Run-of-Shows, scripts and ShoFloUnderstanding of video control room systems, operations, and workflowMust be able to assist with COVID regulations as they get updatedSalary Rate: $67,000 - $75,000 In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate's education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
