JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Marketing Manager works directly with the Marketing and retail management team to promote optimal sales and service of retail outlets by maximizing profits through an integrated business strategy. This includes supporting resort amenities and off-property businesses with merchandising practices that contribute to the sale of products using packaging, pricing, displays, advertising, and promotions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Developing and executing comprehensive marketing and merchandising strategies that drive traffic to non-gaming resort amenities and retail store outlets.Research, negotiate, and work with Advertising to schedule media objectives.Conducts cost and budget analysis of retail outlet performance and trends and acts to make adjustments with retail management as needed to maximize performance and control costs.Manages advertising campaign development, analysis, and ad testing.Manages and coordinates the development of In-Store promotional strategies and advertising, including point-of-purchase displays, on-property advertising, on-property signage, and collateral.Works closely with Retail management and offers guidance to ensure product selection, contracts, delivery, and performance sales are on target with goals.Works closely with the Marketing team to provide full visibility and integration of retail plans.Identifies and develops cooperative marketing opportunities.Assist the Marketing Director in developing marketing plans with clear goals, strategies, schedules, and assignments.Devise strategies to drive online and e-commerce traffic to the company website and mobile application.Assist the Marketing Director in the preparation of the budget. Assist in formulation and tracking of marketing budgets.Manages the timely delivery of marketing deadlines.Ensures brand integrity.Assures that guest service standards are clearly defined, implemented, and practiced. Monitors guest service through comment cards, ratings, observation and other means to measure service levels. Responds as appropriate to guest service complaints/needs.Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitor what local competitors are doing.Participate in WRC management team meetings, and project teams as appropriate, and promote internal communication across retail outlets.Participation and development of a tribal member workforce.Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests.Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.Other related duties as assigned.WRC QUALITY SERVICE STANDARDS:

Marketing secured storage.Personal files.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and two (2) years’ experience as a Marketing or Advertising Manager or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Experience with purchasing mass media, and/or paid digital campaigns.Proven ability to develop marketing and advertising strategies.Proven copywriting skills.Customer service experience.Excellent presentation skills, including communication skills, interpersonal skills, professional appearance, and demeanor.Computer literate in word processing, excel, and database management.Possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to make decisions, meet deadlines, monitor numerous projects/dates, etc.Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.Must be at least 21 years of age.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Previous Retail or Resort Marketing experience preferred.
