⠀The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Digital Marketing, with a focus on Digital Experience, to join our North America marketing team on our journey to create a best-in-class digital experience for our customers and partners. In this role, you will act as a strategic business partner to Marketing and cross-functional teams, guiding the development and execution of marketing programs, content strategies, and digital initiatives. You will work across teams to advance utilization of our Test and Learn program and personalization capabilities, owning the translation of ideas and hypothesis into functional business requirements, deploying conversion rate optimization tactics that drive revenue lift and digital evolution, and reporting on post-release effectiveness. This role will be key in driving innovations in how we reach customers and optimize the effectiveness of digital marketing and site content, as measured by the content's ability to advance customers through their journey. You should be a digital storyteller, operate analytically, think outside the box to identify opportunities, and have a passion for creating engaging and seamless digital

experiences that help improve lives of our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated Digital Marketing Strategy & Vision:

Ensure digital marketing initiatives are closely aligned with overarching business goals and objectives.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop integrated omni-channel campaigns that deliver consistent messaging and experiences across all digital touchpoints, driving brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.

Monitor performance of digital marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for optimization, refining targeting, messaging, and creative assets based on audience behavior and preferences to maximize ROI and drive continuous improvement in campaign performance.

Identify and recommend opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the digital landscape.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, product development, and IT, to ensure alignment of the digital roadmap and drive execution of strategic initiatives that directly contribute to revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction

Customer Experience Improvement & Optimization:

Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their behaviors and purchase journeys

Mange optimization of digital platforms to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience that enhances customer satisfaction, reduces friction points in the user journey, and increases conversion rates.

Leverage data, analytics, and customer insights, in partnership with the CRM Data Analytics & Insights Manager, to implement personalization strategies across digital touchpoints, delivering tailored content, product recommendations, and offers to individual users and customer segments to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, exploring opportunities to innovate and differentiate our brand in the digital landscape, helping to position Metagenics at the forefront of digital innovation and drive a competitive advantage in the market.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

Leverage data analytics and insights to drive decision-making across digital initiatives, analyzing KPIs, customer behavior, and market trends, to identify optimization opportunities, iterate on strategies, and measure impact of digital investments.

Lead Test & Learn program, experimentation, and iterative improvements, to ensure continuous optimization of digital experiences, UI/UX, creative content, and campaigns accordingly to maximize ROI and drive sustainable growth.

Site Experience & Merchandising:

Oversee site merchandising strategies to optimize product discovery and navigation on digital platforms.

Curate product collections, highlight promotions, and optimizing search and filtering functionalities to improve the browsing experience and increase conversion.

Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to define and execute promotional strategies that drive traffic and generate revenue.

Work cross-functionally and with our agency partners to design, develop, and optimize site and landing pages, ensuring a seamless, user-friendly experience. Content Strategy & Execution:

Own digital content strategies and inform development efforts to support the creation of compelling and engaging digital stories that resonates with our target audience.

Contribute heavily to the content calendar, identifying key themes and topics, and coordinating content production across channels.

Own the definition and scoping of personalization content required to deliver relevant and timely content to different audience segments throughout our digital ecosystem.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in ecommerce or digital marketing.

Experience working within DTC retail, CPG, or similar ecommerce environments.

Expertise in digital experience, consumer analytics, ecommerce, and marketing.

Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns andstrategies with ability to rapidly synthesize complex information and drive strategic alignment across stakeholders.

Ability to define and apply best practice working methodologies and processes.

Demonstrated track record with CRO and increasing CVR through multivariant testing strategies.

Familiarity with digital platforms and their strategic content development requirements.

Strong understanding of current concepts, tactics, and best practices leveraged in paid/organic media, email, and CRM to define marketing strategies.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to convey complex concepts to stakeholders.

Ability to easily shift between high-level strategy and tactical execution seamlessly.

Understanding of emerging technologies (AI, ML, etc.) and their applications.

Proficiency in data analysis and ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Analytically driven and creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation.

Effective team management and dedicated attention to detail.

Strong project management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks/responsibilities, set goals based on available information, and plan work in order to meet deadlines.

Able to work independently and react quickly to changing priorities with a consistent sense of urgency.

Experience in the health and wellness industry not required, but a plus

Compensation

The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $163,700/yr. to $190,000/yr.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
