WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Primrose Brand Management team is responsible for capturing the hearts and minds of current and prospective families and teachers through paid, earned, and owned strategies. The Manager, Public Relations is a key leader of the earned media strategy at Primrose. Working with the Director, External Communications, and agency partners, the Manager will create PR programs including School Excellence PR strategies, influencer engagement and awards, overseeing flawless execution of PR campaigns, and being able to measure and report on the results of these efforts.

The right candidate will have a proven track record of working across a business to deliver impactful, large-scale PR and media relations programs, including quantifiable results. They will have a strong drive to offer creative, earned-centric ideas that challenge the status quo, balancing strategic PR skills with tactical execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Builds earned media strategies, PR and influencer programs, overseeing implementation, execution and reporting.Leadership of local PR marketing strategies, specifically the #PrimroseProud program.Manage PR amplification plans to ensure the right messages are elevated to the appropriate audiences across owned and internal channels.Develop and update PR resources and training materials.Oversee the company's awards strategy to position Primrose as an industry-leading brand.Conduct research on media trends, coverage, awards and more.Manage and update media kit files.Manage coverage tracking, measurement, and reporting with support from our PR agency and third-party programs.Lends subject matter expertise to other business segments.Assists Director, External Communications in writing press releases and creating media materials.Monitors and analyzes effectiveness of PR campaigns and communicates insights to management.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek to build teams of individuals who maintain trusted relationships, demonstrate accountability, influence without authority, have a service mindset, agility and curiosity. Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism5-7 years' [JD1] experience executing large-scale media relations strategies and programsPR agency experience is highly valuedExperience writing press releases, award nominations and in managing measurement and reportingExperience in a franchised-brand is a plusExemplary written and oral communications skills

Our school support center, or "Corporate Office", is based in Atlanta, GA and we're dedicated to providing service excellence by supporting over 400 schools across 29 states to provide children with the best and most trusted early education and care.

Our support center, located within minutes of the Battery and Suntrust Park, is home to over 130 team members that work in Marketing, Operations, IT, Real Estate, Franchise Development, Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources.
