ob Summary:

Field Marketing Manager is responsible for reviewing and analyzing business and market data to recommend actions to grow performance (traffic and sales) in their assigned markets. This includes oversight for developing local marketing plans to affect DMA and/or restaurant level performance, including understanding local consumer behavior, local media, product performance, pricing, merchandising opportunities, delivery, local store marketing and competitive trends. A subject matter expert in all factors affecting sales and traffic.

We align our operators to our brand by guiding, informing, and supporting them through the delivery of BOLD, actionable, strategic plans, ideas, resources, and insights that drive profitable sales and transactions in the communities and trade areas we serve.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Updates Field Marketing Top 10 DMA Dashboard on a quarterly basis, which includes developing local marketing action plans from business data and reporting out on previous quarter's results.Serves as primary marketing lead for Quarterly Business Reviews and Business Information Meetings providing an analysis of operator/DMA trade area including competition, demographics, and recommended marketing actions to improve performance. Attends (in-person or virtual) in partnership with Sr. Regional Franchise Directors (SFRDs)Oversees local market tours and weekly Friday visits, including pre-visit market and operator level research and analysis along with coordination with SRFDs; provides post visit analysis of opportunities and actions (i.e., QU, OLO, missing POP, pricing inconsistencies, image, LSM opportunities, etc.)Collaborates with all support functions (Creative, Media, PR, Digital, Training, BI etc.) and external agencies to steward the execution of local marketing tactics.Facilitates creative requests for Franchisees for various local marketing tactics, as needed (i.e., direct mail, OOH, social posts, merchandising requests for local promotions, local coupons, etc.)Writes creative project briefs and leads briefing with cross functional team (internal and agencies) to kick off ideation process.Works with external partners to execute.Presents and approves plans/tactics with Franchisees.Informs and/or writes business cases to sell-in national/test programs to align the system and drive performance.Reviews and approves local menu configuration requests submitted by Franchisees.Manages localized brand activations and works with Ops and Franchise teams to execute locally.Liaison with local communities to develop partnerships that benefit the Franchise community.Communicates price changes to POP/Merchandising team to ensure correct price points are featured in all restaurants and reviews Roll-Up to correct pricing discrepancies before POP is printed.Reviews pricing tiers with Franchisees and approves final proofs of National Direct Mail Program that is distributed in Franchise markets.Shares local insights to improve national planning.Leads weekly 1:1s with key operators to stay close to the business and build relationships.Participates in cross functional meetings to stay up to date and be an informed resource for Franchisees.Weekly 1:1s with SRFDsFirst line of marketing contact for SRFDs and Franchisees for all marketing requestsPosition Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience):

B.A. Degree in Marketing/Advertising or related communications/ business degree. A master's degree is preferred.A minimum 8 years' experience multi-unit restaurant or franchised group experience with in-depth knowledge of all factors affecting sales including consumer behavior, as well as competitive and promotional impact on sales, media planning and execution, competitive analysis, and local planning implementation.Experience in multi-cultural marketing a plusProven track record of delivering execution that drives both traffic and sales.Strong interpersonal, written communication and relationship building skills.Sound judgment and business senseSelf-starter, multi-tasking, time management, planning and organizational skills are a must.Extensive MS Office experienceDetailed and service oriented, maintains confidentiality as required.Ability to work independently from home and remotely with minimum supervision.Good presentation skills, motivating and persuasive.Flexible for up to 40% travel depending on regional marketing needs.Competencies:
