Project Manager - Infrastructure Design - Austin, TXWestwood Professional Services, Inc.Westwood Professional Services, Inc . is seeking a Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Design team in our Austin, TX office. Experience with managing projects including, but not limited to, water, wastewater, stormwater, drainage and road infrastructure is preferred. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage the design and delivery of projects in a profitable mannerOversee the technical aspects of various projectsSupervise the work of engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the projectDevelop project work plans and budget projections and effectively deploy resourcesReview, interpret and act on business metrics including utilization, backlog, work in process and account receivablesPrepare, maintain and coordinate schedules of multiple concurrent projectsDevelop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget deliveryComplete monthly project accounting and invoicingImplement and maintain QA/QC proceduresParticipate in contract bidding, provide limited observation during construction, review submittals and RFIsResolve design conflicts and field construction issuesRepresent clients and firm in meetings with governmental agenciesWrite proposals and participate and/or lead interviewsGrow, mentor and train staffBuild relationships internally and externally with clients and strategic partnersLead business development activitiesEnsures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service.Lead by example display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalismRequired Skills:
Outgoing, friendly, approachableExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage staff and direct resources effectivelyAbility to effectively communicate at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated ability to manage projects in a profitable mannerUnderstanding of alternative delivery methodsExtensive knowledge of conveyance, treatment and storage designs.
