Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the development and production of marketing materials and facilitating project workflow for the Physician Marketing and Global Medicine marketing initiatives. In addition to the initial evaluation and routing of internal marketing requests, this position is responsible for the content writing, development of marketing materials such as booklets, brochures, print and digital ads, email blasts, and overseeing the production of such items ensuring the integrity of the TGH image and brand. The role will report directly to the Director of Institutional Marketing.

Duties and Job Responsibilities

Produce marketing materials such articles, booklets, brochures, print and digital ads, and email blasts.Content writing, editing and proof-reading.Support the development of patient and physician education materials.Collaborate with vendors on the production of promotional items and educational materials.Support the Director with physician bio development.Provide marketing support for all aspects of the Defining Medicine website and Global Medicine program website.Conduct research, write and edit materials for a broad range of clinical specialties and audiences.Manage the intake of internal projects as they come into the department, gathering needed information and routing to the Director.Assist with departmental budget management, including the submission of purchase orders, invoices and communication with accounts payable team.Work in a highly interactive and cross-functional position, collaborating with team members across various disciplines.Ensure all marketing developed is consistent with Tampa General Hospital brand standards and guidelines.Other related duties as required. Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field required. Two years of related work experience in Marketing, Advertising or Journalism in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills Preferred

Strong writing skillsKnowledge of marketing strategy and tactics including collateral, social media, email, SEO, etc.Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload across multiple projects.Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.Strong verbal and written communications, with the ability to communicate effectively with all types of audiences.Must be detail-oriented, able to remain calm under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.Must be a team player, able to collaborate and influence, and build consensus.Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.Must be hard working and ethical.Computer skills are required including working knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Proficient in Adobe Reader and Pro
