Job Description:We're looking for a Senior Design System Engineer to join our growing Design System team.You'll be a key player in the evolution of our product suite and help build a world-class design system that supports all our business pillars.You will help evolve and scale our design system efforts in partnership with Engineers, Product Designers, Product Managers and other cross-functional partners.As a Senior Design Systems Engineer, you'll transform future visions into reality by building a single source of truth for UI design and implementation across our enterprise applications.You'll work together with design and engineering leadership to refine product needs, implement the design system in a scalable and accessible way, and drive adoption.This central tool will increase the pace of innovation and improve accessibility across our tools and services.Our products are used by thousands of customers and employees every day. To meet-and exceed- expectations we are rapidly improving and modernizing our front-end code base, helping raise the quality bar for our products across the entire organization.The Team:

The UX team is an important part of our Customer Experience team. On top of traditional CX and the analysis of measurement and metrics, we are a trusted partner in our digital transformation, responsible for UX and HCD. We ensure that the design of our technical solutions represent and meet the needs of our customers by gaining a true appreciation for them and putting them at the center of our decision-making process.The team provides perspective, ideas, as well as concepts through prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, usability tests, etc. Together, we influence the direction, prioritization, and development within our agile teams.The role:

We believe that a design system should emerge from the needs of our teams and are looking for a strong Design System Engineer excited to put users first.You will be part of a team with extensive ownership and the ability to help set best practices and contribute to improvements.As a craft leader, you'll be responsible for contributing to the vision, strategy, and development of the design system.You will advocate for our reusable design elements and its corresponding code to improve efficiency, scalability, standardization across enterprise applications.Additionally, you will be proactive in spearheading new initiatives, coding and documenting components, building design system tooling to improve workflows and overseeing UI component design while providing timely feedback in reviews to improve system guidelines.You will think and plan strategically for short and long-term initiatives to continue shaping the product.Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Design preferred or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 4-7+ years of experience with front-end development and 2+ years of experience building design systems Experience in front-end software development using the AngularJS framework Strong TypeScript and CSS skillsExperience developing and integrating design systems or component libraries assisting front-end developersExpert at building design tokens Experience with accessible systemsComfortable with CI/CD and monorepo toolingAble to collaborate, understand, and work with UX design, Agile product development, and architecture teamsExperience with Figma, Storybook or other Design System Management tools Proficient at writing technical documentation
