Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Front End Software Developer who can utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and NodeJS to develop interfaces for an internal application. The successful candidate will work closely with our software development and design teams to implement enhancements to the existing application. The front end developer will also aid in identifying design issues and implementing solutions to enhance usability.
Job Responsibilities
Develop new features for internal usersWrite clean, reusable code and maintain libraries for future useCollaborate with user groups to identify issues and potential enhancementsTroubleshoot defects in the user interface and back end frameworkParticipates in peer review sessions to validate adherence with development standardsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fieldAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishKnowledge of voice, data, video, and wireless technologies in the telecommunications space is a plus3+ years' web development experienceDemonstrable knowledge of front and back end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHPKnowledge of front end frameworks, such as AngularJSKnowledge of PHP web frameworks, such as CodeIgniterExperience with NodeJS is a plusBasic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESSKnowledge of version control tools, such as GitProven ability to work independently; designing and developing solutions, and to deliver projects on time with minimal directionComfortable working on remote UNIX/Linux based servers using command line technologies
