About you

You're a mission-driven, mixed methods researcher with a specialty in UX research and experience in analytics. You have experience carrying out end-to-end research, from creating a research plan to writing reports. You excel at moderating research sessions, synthesizing data, and using a wide range of research tools and methods. You like working both independently and collaboratively, have experience giving and receiving feedback on research, and display outstanding critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

What you'll doIdentify appropriate methods and research questions to meet client goalsDevelop research briefs, study plans, and research instruments like screeners, surveys, and moderator's guidesInterpret and analyze web and social media analyticsConduct environmental scans, literature scans, and usability auditsCoordinate directly with research facilities and recruitment vendorsModerate study sessions using multiple methods like focus groups, interviews, and usability testingConduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis, synthesizing findings across participantsDevelop research reports and recommendations that align with study goals and best practices in health communication, health literacy, and UXRequirements

At least 3 years of related work experience and an advanced degree in the social sciences, psychology, public health, human computer interaction, or other related fieldExperience supporting and conducting end-to-end research using a variety of methodsExperience moderating research sessions with diverse audiencesExperience developing research instruments and writing reportsKnowledgeable about UX methods and usability best practicesBenefits
