Summary

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are seeking a Marketing Associate. This position will work with the Assistant General Manager and the Coordinator, Social Media on developing and executing digital, social, and traditional marketing strategies. This position is located in Fayetteville, NC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the design and creation of graphics for the Woodpecker’s website, social media, e-mail and videoboardCollaborate with the Creative Service Coordinator and other Marketing team members to develop and execute creative ideas and concepts for various platformsEnsure all design work is visually appealing, on brand, and consistent with the team's overall look and feelManage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWork daily schedule as well as before, during and after all Woodpecker gamesHelp assist in different means when it comes to content creation (Design, Photography, Videography)Education and/or Experience

Graphic Design Degree (or working towards it)Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is required (experience with After Effects/Premiere is a plus)Knowledge of photography & photo editing is a plusKnowledge of videography & video editing is a plusCan provide a portfolio showcasing previous work designing/directing creative projectsFamiliarity with social media, web, app and email platformsA positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, and keen sense of accountabilityCreative and solution-minded individualStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to build relationships, work and contribute to a team-based environment and deliver excellence in client serviceAbility to work extended or unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays as neededAbility to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointShared passion for the business and a desire to positively influence the business

Work Environment

Job may require employee to function in a in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue/environment. Employee may also be exposed to weather of varying degrees for extended periods of time while performing the duties of this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Must be able to stand for up to four (4) hours at a time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Ability to write, read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time and seasonal position. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends during baseball season. Must be available to arrive up to one (1) hour prior to game time.

Travel

Travel is not expected in this role.
