As a

Senior Digital Marketing Analyst II , you'll manage a variety of strategic objectives across Analytics, Operations, Innovation, and Leadership. Using big data, you'll extract, analyze, and report on findings that drive growth for the business and clients. You'll monitor and

optimize pricing and sales performance

across a portfolio of traffic channels

(Affiliate, Influencers, and various Paid Media sources ), identify opportunities and risks for growth, and present and execute on recommendations for improving the overall health of our retail performance marketing network. Lastly, you'll develop skills to manage and guide the professional development of high-performing analysts while building strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

Analytics

Allocation of time: 35%Produce and report on business unit metrics relevant to traffic, monetization, and conversion qualityFormulate hypotheses that can be tested, measured, and reported on to a larger audienceSupport business initiatives by identifying key trends in big data that can drive growth for the businessValidate data integrity in all analyses performedOperations & Execution

Allocation of time: 40%

Manage day-to-day operations of high-impact marketing campaigns, focusing on both supply (customeracquisition on paid traffic channels) and demand (performance management of strategic retailers)

Monitor daily and intraday vital signs of business units owned and ensure performance tracks to expectationsManage the quality of inbound and outbound traffic and optimize toward business targets dailyPartner with multi-disciplinary teams to identify and resolve business short-falls and build upon winsAct as internal and external source expert for accounts & business unit(s) managedStrategy & Innovation

Allocation of time: 15%

Produce and present executive reports that provide recommendations to drive high-level decision-makingLead projects and pitch ideas for products/processes that enhance operational effectivenessDevelop project and product roadmaps that support the growth of business units ownedRemain current on professional and industry developments directly impacting area of responsibilityLeadership & Team Development

Play a key a role in managing and guiding the professional development of junior-level analystsParticipate in hiring process when applicable (define role, evaluate resumes, screen, hire)Develop training protocol and onboard new hires to be operationally effective within three monthsSupervise mentees' daily activities against goals and provide them with frequent feedback for growthDemonstrate ability to maximize mentee performance and contribution to the teamManage and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partnersRequirements

6+ years of experience in a data analytical role4+ years of experience managing paid digital marketing campaigns1+ year(s) of managerial experience; preferred or strong desire to manage and build a teamPerformance marketing / direct response experience requiredBS / BA Degree in business, economics, mathematics, computer science, or statistics preferredAbility to transform complex facts and figures into plain English that can be easily understoodKeen attention to detail, financial responsibility, and strong organizational skillsAdept at compiling accurate reports and presenting analytical findings in a clear, concise mannerExcellent communication skillsStrong working knowledge of Excel and capacity to work with technical systems and teamsAdaptable and resourceful self-starter with the inquisitiveness and hunger for optimization and problem-solvingKnowledge of SQL, Perl, Python a plusBenefits

Our preference is to have this position in office 1 day/week working in our Santa Monica office: 2120 Colorado Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90404. However, we are open to 100% remote in the following states: CA, CT, CO, FL, NJ, NV, NY, TX, and WA.

The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000.

The pay offered may vary depending on several factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Compensation packages include a variety of perks such as Bonus, Equity, 401(k) match, and rich benefits.
