By leading our Marketing and Communications team, you will drive initiatives to effectively communicate the essence of Saint Mary's College, aligning with our strategic objectives and fostering engagement with key stakeholders.

Job Description

The Executive Director will lead and cultivate a dynamic team of professionals, each specializing in diverse facets of digital and print marketing, public relations, and external partnership management. The role encompasses guiding the team's strategic direction and refining operational systems and processes to advance fundraising and enrollment goals in alignment with the college's overarching vision.

The Executive Director will develop, manage, and execute comprehensive strategic marketing and communication plans to fulfill College objectives, overseeing tactical implementation, and provide strategic guidance and leadership to the Marketing and Communications team, ensuring alignment with Saint Mary's College's brand awareness initiatives. This position will lead the team in implementing a dynamic digital strategy integrating website, social media, and online advertising to enhance visibility and engagement, and acts as a coach and mentor to elevate the Marketing and Communication team's performance, fostering a culture of excellence and nurturing succession talent.

The Executive Director will supervise integrated digital marketing and communication efforts, maintaining consistency and enhancing effectiveness across all digital platforms, and ensure timely, high-quality production of promotional print communications, including the College magazine, recruitment materials, and direct mail campaigns. This position will oversee marketing planning and research, guiding the creation and implementation of advertising and public relations initiatives, and monitors industry competition, trends, and messaging, developing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree (master's preferred) in public relations, marketing, communications, public affairs, or a related field.7-10years of senior-level experience in marketing communications planning and execution, ideally within higher education.Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Proven experience in media relations, college publication development and production, and web communications.In-depth expertise in digital media strategy, communication coordination, and development.Proficiency in cutting-edge marketing techniques and understanding of integrated marketing strategies.Demonstrated ability to assemble and lead a high-performing team of professionals.Track record of successful program development and evaluation, with the ability to garner support for goals and objectives from staff and volunteers.Strong organizational and management skills, with experience operating effectively within complex environments at senior levels.Collaborative mindset, capable of working closely with colleagues and peers within the College's leadership.Alignment with the mission and values of Saint Mary's College

Schedule

40 Hours/ 12 Months/ Monday - Friday
