The OpportunityWe are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our Texas CEI market as part of our Construction Management business unit. This person will be able to work remotely and/or from one of our RS&H offices nationwide.

arketing Coordinator , you will be responsible for promoting the Company’s brand through storytelling, proposal themes and messaging, compelling visuals, and marketing materials. This role includes significant customer focus that supports marketing and business development initiatives. You will lead collaboration and coordination with internal project teams, area and region leaders, subject matter experts, graphic designers, and external industry partners/organizations requiring excellent organizational skills to execute all assignments.

You will work with our team of technical staff to develop content for proposals, including technical and creative descriptions of project understanding, approaches, experience, and proposed staff. Secondarily, you will help develop various types of marketing documentation, including award submittals, abstracts, internal and external thought leadership pieces, resumes, project summaries, and marketing materials. This position will require exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. With this expertise of prioritizing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities and direction, you’ll continue to drive your career and the company forward.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate DOT/local government pursuits with internal and external pursuit team members.

Work directly with technical staff to develop proposals, presentations, graphics, marketing material, web media, etc.

Proofread and edit proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, readability, and compliance.

Evaluate technical content to make sure it satisfies RFP requirements and company brand standards.

Facilitate meetings and collaborate with internal and external team members to outline message components and develop differentiators, win themes, compelling text, and graphic concepts.

Write non-technical content and edit proposals for messaging, strategy, and persuasiveness.

Develop interview presentation slide decks.

Coach presentation teams for interviews and other shortlisting activities.

Work with graphic designers to create persuasive graphics.

Facilitate internal QA/QC procedures for all marketing and proposal materials.

Create and maintain resumes, company information, project descriptions, and photography for proposals, SOQs, precertifications, or other materials.

Conduct basic research on market trends, competitor materials, media contacts, etc.

Basic graphic design tasks, such as diagrams, tables, charts, cover designs, layouts for proposals, presentations, marketing materials, reports, etc.

Perform general marketing-related administrative duties as requested.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant AEC consultant marketing/proposal experience.

Proficiency in basic marketing, communication, and graphic design processes.

Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills are required.

A naturally curious and driven self-starter that can work both independently and collaboratively.

An expert at prioritizing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to drive proposal schedules.

Demonstrate a high level of creativity using graphics to supplement messaging.

Ability to work unscheduled overtime, sometimes on tight deadlines.

Adobe InDesign CS4 (or higher) required.

Adobe PhotoShop CS4 (or higher) preferred.

Microsoft Office 2010 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of relevant AEC consultant marketing/proposal experience in the Texas market.

Experience coordinating DOT and/or local agency professional services proposals (preferred clients include TxDOT, HCTRA, NTTA, CTRMA, MDOT, CDOT, IDOT, ISHTA, UDOT, WSDOT, ADOT).

Knowledge and experience with the SF 330 process.

Deltek Vision (or other related database) experience is a plus.

Ability to travel as needed.

Hiring Salary Range:

($72,240 - $112,015) — for this location. The final agreed upon compensation is commensurate with experience relative to the position and/or primary work location.
