Peer tutors participate in staff development opportunities, contribute to center projects and help promote the center within the CLC community.+ Tutor CLC students in selected subjects.+ Document tutoring sessions and complete other required reporting.+ Respond to email and Teams communications.+ Update supervisor on accomplishments, issues, and concerns.+ Participate in staff development opportunities and in the tutor evaluation process.+ Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualification(s)+ Be a CLC student enrolled in a minimum of 3 credits for summer or 6 credits for the fall semester+ Have successfully completed courses in subject area to be tutored+ Ability to communicate and interact effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilitiesDesired Qualification(s)+ Proficient in MS Office.+ Willingness to work at multiple campus locations (Lakeshore, Southlake, Grayslake).Posting DateSpecial Instructions SummaryPay Rate $14.00Location GrayslakeTotal Hours per week 4-20Work ScheduleAs needed based on availability.
