As an Area Field Marketing Coordinator (AFMC), you are strategic in working with our Area Leaders, Managers, and local Sport Clips locations within your trade areas in establishing both local marketing opportunities, as well as coordinating the local store marketing efforts. Your local marketing expertise and continued communication will help drive the growth and success of each store.

Scope:

As the Sport Clips Area Field Marketing Coordinator (AFMC), you are strategic in building local partnerships, coordinating local events, and distributing marketing material in the local communities. You will work directly with the Area Leaders to create unique and strategic marketing plans for stores, as well as training teams on the importance of continued local store marketing, which is critical to store growth and continued success. As an AFMC, you will also help the store’s online brand reputation by monitoring online client reviews, store ratings, and then developing a strategy with stores to manage their reputation. Trade areas for this role include Las Vegas, NV, Austin, TX, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK, Little Rock and northwest AR.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategically market the Stores locally by distributing marketing material, establishing local partnerships, and coordinating local events.

Build a better client loyalty through local Store marketing initiatives.

Train the Sport Clips locations how to market Stores locally by providing tools, resources, and local marketing team Pep Rallies.

Responsible for working closely with established Stores that request local Store marketing assistance and develop a local marketing strategy that increases Client count and supports new Client acquisition.

Build quarterly local Store marketing plans for each Sport Clips location in the Area Field Marketing Coordinator areas.

Maintains consistent communication (e.g., phone, Zoom, email, face-to-face, etc.) with Team Leaders to discuss specific marketing needs, to encourage engagement in marketing their business, and to maintain compliance with brand standards.

Organize and coordinate quarterly marketing training course that both educates and demonstrates local store marketing and digital tactics.

Reporting: Prepare weekly reports to assigned Stores on their digital marketing.

Reporting: Provide weekly detailed local Store marketing tracking reports.

Support National Campaigns with coordinated activity in the Store and on social platforms and increase store participation in national promotions.

Key Criteria/Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience

2+ years of previous experience in field marketing, trade show and/or event marketing

Strong communication skills

Proficient in social media, understanding current trends and how to best utilize social media to improve local brand awareness

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions

Knowledge of the sales and marketing functions

Team-oriented

Strong work ethic

Extensive travel within your trade areas (60-75%)
