Job Summary

Ascendance is seeking an a full-time, creative and innovative Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and have a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar field, or experience in lieu of a degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Management

Collaborate with OEM Regional Marketing Manager to effectively develop and execute regional and national campaigns at a dealer level.Monitor and review all marketing activities. Report results to RMM and dealer leadership team.Assist with the coordination of dealership events and sales blitzes.Strengthen online presence through website optimization and search engine optimizationCoordinate customer-building and industry-focused events to grow and retain customer base.Manage marketing budget and analyze results in order to cost effectively reach dealership goals while earning a significant return on investment.Develop and execute marketing plans, social media strategy and projects for new and existing products and services. Ensure appropriate timing according to product purchasing cycles.Assess product growth opportunities and present marketing proposals to executive leadership team.Analyze current market conditions and competitor information through competitive analysis.Strengthen and/or build a brand presence for the dealership. Develop dealer brand standards.Marketing Resources

Manage the ordering and inventory of marketing materials such as brochures, stationary and giveaways.Maintain customer database, consisting of truck sales retention and conquest accounts.Develop professional marketing collateral while cohering to OEM brand standards.Research and implement the latest marketing tools in the industry at your dealership, including an email marketing platform.Manage or create Customer Relationship Management Database.Ensure customer database captures key industry information and tracks sales person engagement. Reporting features are also critical for the execution of marketing campaigns.Truck Inventory Management

Run an accurate and appealing inventory database in order to draw in prospective buyers.Take photos of stock inventory.Upload stock inventory specs for tractors, cab & chassis and bodies.Add/remove inventory as needed.Highlight key traits of vehicles that would appeal to your target audience.Develop flyers, e-blasts and other marketing materials to help turn over dealer inventory.Advertising

Place advertisements in industry publications to showcase current inventory available.Utilize ad space in industry publications to integrate OEM and dealer-wide promotions.Develop relationship with industry associations.Oversee sponsorship and participation with industry association and customer events.Cross-promote dealership products and offerings (truck sales, parts, service, etc.).Communications

Maintain social media presence for dealership.Improve upon dealership internal practices.Become the knowledgeable go-to person at our dealership for marketing and sales promotions.Increase internal communications between various departments - ensure everyone is on board with OEM initiatives.Launch internal newsletter for dealership employees and external newsletter for customers, conquest accounts and suppliers.Maintain positive public relations through social media, press releases, trade shows, and industry events.Develop internal/external communication strategies that promote a coherent and consistent brand vision.Assure all dealership material and departments are consistent with dealer brand standards.Develop dealership capabilities print and digital brochure.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication skillsIntimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channelsAbility to think creatively and innovativelyBudget-management skills and proficiencyProfessional judgment and discretionAnalytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challengesFamiliarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task are requiredSelf-motivated and goal orientedLICENSES/EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar fieldYears of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
