Hybrid if the candidate is located in the Austin, TX area; fully remote if the candidate is located elsewhere
Our Company:
Starforge Systems has built around the core idea of making products that set a new standard in computer gaming. We were founded by a team of industry veterans alongside a group of content creators in August 2022. We set out to change the standard for customer service, build quality, and cable management in the industry, while still making sure our computers were affordable and accessible.
Job Duties:Research audience preferences and stay at the forefront of current trendsCreate and post engaging text, image, and video contentDesign posts to sustain readers' curiosity and create buzz around new productsMeasure web traffic and monitor SEOStay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectivenessFacilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queriesReport on online reviews and feedback from customers and fansDevelop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metricsOversee social media accounts' layoutSuggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitionsPerform additional related duties as assignedRequirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Expertise in multiple social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTubeKnowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google AnalyticsAbility to deliver creative content (text, image and video)Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channelsAbility to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactivelyExcellent communication skillsMultitasking and analytical skillsEducation and Experience:
1 year of experience as a social media coordinator or Jr Social Media Manager preferredBachelors degree in Marketing, New media, or a relevant field preferredKnowledge of the Tech/PC industry preferredKnowledge/understanding of Twitch and YouTube creators and culture preferredPhysical Demands:
Able to sit or stand for the duration of the workdayAble to use a keyboard, headset, and computer monitor for the workdayBenefits
