**Job Type:** Regular**Time Type:** Full time**Work Shift:** Rotating (United States of America)**FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt**When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, youre making a difference in peoples lives.**MRI TechnologistPosition Summary:Under general supervision of the Manager of MRI and under the direction of a Radiologist, can perform diagnostic MRI/MRA on pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as requested by a physician.Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:Utilizes all their technical skills and training to ensure the safe and accurate operation of the MRI scanner including the screening of all patients and visitorsEvaluates MRI scans for technical quality under minimal supervision. Perform these duties using independent judgment and initiativeMust project an image of professionalism in conduct, appearance, communication and team work. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process of the department.Participates in hospital wide compliance assessmentsWill be required to take call and rotate to both MRI sitesPerforms other related duties as requiredOrganizational Requirements:Maintain strict adherence to the Beverly Hospital Confidentiality policy.Incorporate Beverly Hospital Standards of Behavior and Guiding Principles into daily activities.Comply with all Beverly Hospital Policies.Comply with behavioral expectations of the department and Beverly Hospital.Maintain courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients.Demonstrate an understanding of the job description, performance expectations, and competency assessment.Demonstrate a commitment toward meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers and consistently adheres to Customer Service standards.Participate in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities.Participate in and successfully completes Mandatory Education.Perform all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.Is accountable for identifying, actively contributing to, and implementing best practices and improvements including practicing proper hand hygieneIs accountable for cleaning equipment and rooms per Hospital, Radiology and regulatory policies and proceduresMinimum Qualifications:Education: Must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Upholds standards set by the ARRT regarding diagnostic procedures and professional ethics.Licensure, Certification & Registration:American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) orBachelor of Science Degree in Advanced Level Certification in MRIBasic Life Support (BLS)Experience: Experience in MRI setting preferredMust have excellent communication skillsMust maintain a professional manner and appearanceMust be able to work independently as well as in a teamMust be self-motivated and have ability to work in a healthcare settingMust have basic computer skillsMust have basic skills and knowledge necessary to perform venipuncture**Job Description:**MRI Technologist**As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
