Job Description

Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG)

seeks an experienced designer with exceptional design and creative skills to join our team. Working closely with HMPG's EVPs and Creative Service Director, this position is responsible for designing show logos, key art, pitch decks, print ads and supporting elements for business development and marketing needs.

This position reports to the Creative Services Director.

This position is based on-site in our brand new state-of-the-art Glendale, CA office.

Responsibilities

Create show logo and key art development from concept to completionDesign high-end presentations and pitch decksConcept and design national print adsSupport day-to-day design needs for all departmentsCreate print, digital, and supporting materials for B-2-B and B-2-C projectsExperience

5+ years working to package broadcast, cable, or network showsDeep understanding of show production, pitch process and how key art helps drive overall packaging for programmingAbility to work on multiple projects at once and work quickly for new developmentAbility to manage media assets and projects from concept to completionProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects and PremiereUnderstanding of C4D a plusQualifications

Extraordinary visualization, conceptualization, and design skills with strong background print designDesign portfolio representing current industry trends and techniquesStrong communication and organizational skills including presentation skills, both in person and remotely with clientsComprehensive firsthand knowledge of on-air, print and digital graphics importance and functionality combinedBackground/experience in television or film is a plusEducation

Related experience and/or training considered as well as a combination of education and experienceHMPG is a proud supporter of military veterans. Related military training and experience will be consideredThe pay range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 annualized. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, geographical location, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
