As a Senior Interior Designer this position is responsible for working through projects through all phases and providing project guidance to junior interior designer staff.The Senior Interior Designer will report to Project Principal-In-Charge (PIC) and Project Manager (PM).
Responsibilities
Produce and design projects through every phase of interior projects, from initial conceptual client presentation through project close including schematic design, design development, and construction documents.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of interior designers in the creation of project deliverables.Coordinate with Project Coordinator/Manager (PM) and Design Lead (DL) on overall design of project.Act as "face of the projects" serving as the main contact for the interior design of the project.Skill Set
Must have a good working sense of form, space, order, and contextAbility to teach, mentor and train our teamAbility to work through and present multiple solutionsAbility to produce and develop a conceptWill collaborate with product vendors and other industry leaders to stay on top of current trends and new materials.Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Interior Design.Minimum of (5) five years experience working in an Architectural firmProject type experience K-12 and higher education facilities, municipal facilities, or housing.Proficiency with Revit is required.Proficiency with Adobe Suite preferred.Registered Interior Designer
in Oklahoma preferred.
