Rockwell Group is currently seeking a Graphic Designer expertly versed in exhibition design. For this position you will be focusing on large format print and production based around large scale exhibition design. You will be responsible for working closely with team members toward creating an exhibition.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related fieldAt least three years on-the-job experience in exhibit graphic designFull knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesignCandidates with After Effects/animation and Infographics experience will be strongly considered.Knowledge of print production specific to exhibit graphics designEvidence of creative or technical ability as demonstrated by portfolio.Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines and work both independently and in collaboration with others.Ability to be responsible for multiple projects at one time.Ability to solve complex design problems.Ability to multi-task and set priorities with tight timelines and high client expectationsDesire to continue to grow in professional knowledge and honing skills to enhance individual and team innovation and productivityResponsibilities

Design and layout of environmental graphics for large format printing with some knowledge of fabrication and materiality.Communicate and collaborate frequently with staff members from other departments-to understand the substantive, interpretive, and informational goals of exhibitions, publications, and other projects and to create appropriate designs for them.Collaborate with colleagues on a variety of graphic deliverables, as well as outside vendors. Assuring quality and maintaining deadlines. Work well within deadline parameters, completing projects in a timely manner.Study design briefs and determine requirementsConceptualize visuals based on requirementsPrepare rough drafts and present ideasDevelop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by handAdhere to and develop to brand style guidesAmend designs after feedbackEnsure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brandBonus Skills

Salary range 70,000 to 90,000

Salaries vary in response to an individual's experience and proven track record based on total value of projects designed or managed, number of staff managed, complexity of projects completed, presentation experience, and seniority.
