Selectek is looking for a Mechanical Designer to work under the supervision of a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Managers on a portfolio of projects in education, assisted living, hospitality, and commercial office project types.Required:
Associates degree or technical drafting certification3+ years’ experience in mechanical design of HVAC systems for commercial buildingsFamiliarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practicesProficiency using AutoCAD and RevitPrevious experience with Trane Trace software is a plus

Design and layout of engineering drawings for building HVAC systemsCoordinate installation with other tradesSupport workflow of foreman and project managersWork from schematic sketches to produce plan drawingsOrganize and file project drawingsMaintain company drawings and standardsInteract with clients in on-line coordination meetings and on-site with Project ManagersDesign, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipmentDesign and select HVAC systems and equipment
