To provide general customer service and support to the divisions of Seneca Companies (specifically sales) in a marketing capacity. CRM training and support throughout the organization as defined by program lead. E-Commerce support - researching and loading product specs, images and pricing. Other sales and marketing duties as assigned.

Job REQUIREMENTS



Education : Associate degree or 4-year college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or related fields preferred.



Experience : 0-1 years professional experience in marketing, advertising and/or communications field.



Licenses/Certifications : Valid drivers license required. AMA-recognized marketing certifications preferred.



Technical Abilities : Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator) and web editing content management systems (CMS) are preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of AP Stylebook guidelines. Strong proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. The willingness to embrace change and technology. Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools is necessary.



Autonomy/Direction : Performs a variety of tasks throughout the marketing spectrum. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to Marketing Management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



40% : Assist Sales & Marketing Specialist in implementing D365 CRM throughout the organization. Help create training and assistance to troubleshoot issues with the sales team. Make sure all sales members are using the system consistently to drive good data for sales and marketing efforts. Assist in defining and pulling reporting for sales and marketing teams.



40% : Assist the VP of Marketing with the e-commerce site. Primary areas will be researching and creating descriptions/specifications (weights), working with the pricing manager to load correct pricing, getting correct photography of products and working with the 3rd party agency to troubleshoot issues. The position will be heavily involved in the redesign of the site in the future.



10% : Assists with maintaining and updating client database as relates to Marketing campaigns, market research and lead generation efforts (CRM / D365).



10% : Other sales and marketing duties as assigned; could include special assignments or requests from the VP of Marketing and/or VP of Sales.

Working Hazards : Works in a seated position for an extended period of time.



Physical/Mental Exertion

Ability to perform light physical work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a frequent basis and up to 20 pounds of force on an occasional basis, performing such activities as fingering, grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, and repetitive tasks. Work requires close mental and visual attention to detail.



Tools and Equipment : Ability to accomplish the described duties through the use of appropriate computer and general office equipment. Microsoft Office Suite, Graphic Design - Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 CRM and Marketing Automation programs and web design CMS.
