The Role

As a vital member of our US Open Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team during the 2024 US Open. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Distribution of daily tournament collateral within departmentAssist with managing VIP guest requests including ticketing arrangements and escortingMarketing promotional booth support and giveaway logisticsAssist with on-site photoshoot logisticsUndertaking administrative duties with efficiency and precisionCoordinating ad hoc team requests and always thinking one step aheadThis role demands a commitment of approximately 60+ hours per week, including the physical demands of moving boxes weighing up to 30lbs and extensive on-site walking. Successful candidates must be available to work from August 19 through September 8 and be capable of operating at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York.

Who You Are

Demonstrated ability as a self-starter with a proactive mindset.Exhibited interest and/or experience in sports or major event marketingUphold a strong work ethic and exemplify exceptional communication skills.Maintain a professional demeanor, interfacing with executives.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite: Acrobat,Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.Proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin is not essential but highly desirable.What We Offer

$20.00 per hour non-exempt.Meal allowance provided via credentials.Provision of uniforms to maintain a polished appearance.
