Mechanical Designer

We have an immediate need for a Structural or Mechanical Designer in the Jacksonville, FL area.Job duties:
Design of Industrial ProjectsUsing CAD Software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or Revit to do mechanical (conveyors, buckets, gear boxes, piping) and/or structural drawings. (Steel, Rebar, Concrete).Create or modify drawings as required, with minimal assistance.Route pipe/ductLay out new structures and equipment for most efficient use of space and resources.Detailed installation drafting of pipe and mechanical equipment.Detailed installation drafting of structural items such as platforms and pump foundations.Coordinate with other disciplines as required to produce projects with the lowest total installed cost possible.Develop and expand breadth and depth of design knowledge and capabilities.Develop knowledge and working ability with client standards, drawing process, creating drawing lists, etc.Interact with Clients, Vendors, Contractors to obtain information pertinent to the completion of design work.Develop knowledge and ability in using 3D software: Plant 3D and others as they fit the project.Develop knowledge of piping systems, piping specifications and in-line instruments
Required:
Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and/or RevitAssist office staff with administrative and technical help, as needed.
