Position Overview

The Marketing Assistant will coordinate and support marketing and promotional efforts for KSL NewsRadio. This position will include a wide range of responsibilities, including support for digital marketing (eblasts, web updates, online contests), reporting on marketing efforts, support for events and tours, along with a variety of administrative tasks.

role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Salt Lake City site.What You Will Do:

Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Work with the KSL team to present innovative, compelling events that engage and delight new and existing audiences, both live on-air and online.Provide digital marketing support for social media, eblasts, website and other areas of focus as assignedShoot and edit short weekly promotion videos as well as evergreen promo videosOversee small to modest sized targeted digital marketing campaignsTrack, maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date records of station contestingReport monthly on the efforts and results of the greater promotions teamOccasionally attend remote promotional eventsOther tasks as assigned; work schedule as assignedSkills and Experience We Are Looking For:

High school diploma and minimum 3-5 years' experience in administrative support (marketing experience strongly preferred)Excellent communications skills, including writing and grammarHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to learn other softwareStrong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)Self-starter with the ability to perform job tasks efficiently and effectively with little supervision.Excellent problem solving abilitiesAbility to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines and deliver on commitmentsWork well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with potential customers, viewers, listeners, influencers and the general publicIdeal candidate will have video shooting and editing experiencePhysical Demands:

Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.Lift, move, and carry up to 30 pounds on occasion.Compensation

$17.00 to $21.50 per hour. Hourly rate to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
