Position Overview
Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia productsUtilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requestsCoordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user friendly experienceCreates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital productsDevelops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types. of digital content that will be presented onlineEnsures products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearancesConducts technical quality checksManages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principlesProvides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference mapsRequired Skills
Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.Requires BA/BS and 3+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience.Experience with the following:
o Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
o Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
o Photography and video editing
o Mentoring and trains junior staff
o Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user friendly experience
o Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
o Developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
o Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
o Conducting technical quality checks
