Responsibilities

Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests.Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study.Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observationsCollects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director.Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when applicable.Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.The CPSGT/RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical DirectorQualifications

Job Requirements

Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist requiredCertification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT) is requiredLicensed Sleep Technologist is requiredCurrent CPR (BCLS) CertificationPreferred Job Requirements

Scoring experience preferredRegistered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred
