Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with an appliance company to hire a Senior Social Media Strategist.The pay for this six month onsite contract is $ 42.79/hr.**Job Description Summary:**As an integral part of the in-house Social Listening team, the Senior Social Strategist will lead the brand social media from the development to overseeing the execution of the social media strategies. This business function began as an incubator project and has developed into a valuable marketing tool designed to capture social engagement about their brands and categories. With the support of daily analytics and social scraping, the Senior Social Media Strategist role contributes to a team with strategic decisions for appropriate responses and intersections with relevant content. As someone with a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics and audiences, you'll utilize social media platforms to promote the company's brand and products to increase consumer awareness and conversion. Multitasking is a key competency in this position because you will be responsible for managing multiple social media accounts. In keeping up to date with the latest social media trends, you will identify target audiences and guide the creative development to maximize social media exposure.**Essential Responsibilities****Content Strategy:**+ Work with Advertising Senior Manager and Advertising Director to establish a framework and approach for content creation, daily operating rhythm+ Collaborate with wider teams to ensure content approach supports and aligns with other content efforts+ Develop content playbook with the team members that will drive content focus across brands and products+ Support channel strategy that aligns with content areas of focus**Content Creation:**+ Support Advertising Senior Manager and Advertising Director in the creation of content for in-home setting and at studio+ Assist in curating content that helps emphasize their content areas of focus+ Identify and present trends to the team for content ideas that are relevant to their brand(s) Social Listening+ Establish listening pillars and framework that can be scaled across other brands and products+ Increased ownership of social listening platforms to glean insights across digital environments+ Review relevant conversations that can influence/impact our content creation efforts+ Educate the wider team on relevant trends in culture and media**Reporting:**Lead the development of monthly reports that track metrics across the following areas:1. Brand conversations by channels2. Sentiment analysis3. Overall conversation volume and mentions4. Monthly review of competitive results in:+ Volume+ Sentiment+ Quarterly deep dives that analyze:+ Performance trends+ Owned channel review+ Paid Social performance media implications+ Competitive review+ Wins/accomplishments+ Recommendations**Qualifications/Requirements**Success in this role will be demonstrated by measured increases in the company's profitability stemming from increased website traffic and social media interactions.+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline+ Proven experience as a social media strategist or a similar role, with a track record of successful social campaigns.+ Good understanding of social media KPIs+ Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms and other social media best practices+ Critical thinker and problem-solving skills+ Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics+ Exceptional writing skills and creativity, creating engaging, persuasive content+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+ Ability to problem-solve and work within a cross-functional environment+ An ability to identify target audiences' preferences and cultural themes to help build content to meet them+ Creativity, tech-savvy, analytical, audience focused visionBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401k plan.
