We concept, develop, and design unique, custom solutions for large local and national clients. Our goal is to create engaging experiences for consumers. This includes content marketing, video, digital, and traditional ad campaigns.You will work as part of a larger creative team. At the Star Tribune, you will work with an in-house team of a creative director, other designers, and creative project managers. We also work with freelance writers and illustrators.Job Responsibilities:Works with sales development and creative teams to understand client needs and to solve them with engaging creative solutions.Develops proofs and prototypes of potential ad campaigns - often includes creating a potential look for the campaign, print layouts, digital layouts (rich media narratives, display campaigns), and video storyboards.Executes campaigns for our clients - campaigns - often includes creating a potential look for the campaign, print layouts, video editing and digital layouts (rich media narratives, display campaigns).

Qualifications:3+ years of design experience.Must have experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro.Experience with Illustrator, Animate, and After Effects is a plus.Must be able to collaborate well with others.Must be willing to try new things and committed to continuous learning.
