About the role
Serotonin is seeking an experienced Marketing Director to define and oversee marketing strategy for some of the most high-profile companies in both the blockchain and traditional enterprise space. This person will lead strategy and execution on their client book or be the right hand to an existing head to ensure that they are bringing a compelling story to market - one that engages and activates their core audience. The ideal candidate should have 7-10+ years of experience leading marketing and communications efforts for early and growth-stage technology companies, and should be extremely well versed in the web3 ecosystem. Agency experience is required.
ResponsibilitiesManage 4-6 client relationships for Serotonin, working across clients and with internal client teams to deliver high quality marketing strategy, campaigns, and resultsCollaborate with the client team to define key marketing objectives, establish KPIs, and develop strategic marketing plans aligned with long term business goals.Build a relationship with key client stakeholders and take on ultimate responsibility for the health of the client relationshipGet hands on with clients, taking on ad hoc projects to meet expectationsCollaborate and manage cross functionally across PR, Content, Marketing, Growth, Event teams.Be a true partner & take ownership of the client's brand, making decisions that are best for the client and their successBe able to appropriately adapt the clients' messaging and strategy to a constantly changing ecosystemManage the clients' marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes.Oversee Public Relations efforts and ensure consistent execution / alignment with key messagingOversee content & social strategy and developmentOversee growth campaigns, paid and owned mediaEnsure accounts are effectively staffed and client deliverables are consistently metMonitor and report to Serotonin & client on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and optimize ROIRepresent Serotonin at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance our visibility and reputation within the marketStay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing, and integrate relevant insights into our strategies and processes.Requirements
7-10+ years experience as a Marketing Director or similar roleExperience working in or using crypto / blockchain.(Bonus: Experience working in an agency environment)Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plansExperience working with emergent technology brands and businessesExceptional and excellent communication skills, both written and spokenA proven track record of successful campaigns and announcements with examplesBenefits
