Government and Public Relations for our healthcare organization. This role is an incredible opportunity for a strategic thinker with a strong background in healthcare, organ procurement organizations (OPO), policy, marketing, PR, and community outreach. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the overall strategic planning, development, and implementation of the organization's public relations and marketing programs. Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and public relations strategy that enhances our image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitates internal and external communications.2. Oversee development of all marketing collateral and public relations activities, including media relations, social media, special events, and community outreach.3. Manage the organization's brand and reputation, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.4. Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges in the marketplace and develop strategies to address them.5. Lead and manage the marketing and public relations team to ensure they are meeting their objectives and contributing to the overall success of the organization.6. Monitor and analyze trends in healthcare, organ procurement, marketing, and public relations, and adapt strategies as needed.7. Develop and manage relationships with key media contacts, community leaders, and industry influencers.8. Oversee crisis communications and issues management, including coordinating responses to media inquiries and requests for information.9. Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions that help promote and/or impact the organization.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level marketing and public relations role, preferably within the healthcare industry.3. Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing comprehensive strategic marketing and public relations programs to advance an organization's mission and goals.4. In-depth knowledge of healthcare policies and organ procurement organizations (OPO).5. Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, organization’s board of directors, and staff.6. Proven track record of success in community outreach and engagement.7. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.8. Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.9. Strong media relations experience with a track record of positive results.10. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and work under pressure to meet deadlines.11. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
