We seek outstanding applicants who share our values and vision to join the team, help win elections, and build a future where everyone can thrive.The Opportunity: As a Constituency Media Press Secretary, you will lead the Biden-Harris Wisconsin communications team’s efforts to reach many of the core constituencies we need to win this November, including Black, Latino, AAPI, and LGBTQ+ voters. You will develop and implement our constituency voter strategy by building strong relationships with constituency media reporters and storytellers, regularly pitching constituency media on interviews and op-eds, developing, and staffing press events, and developing press materials relevant to key constituencies.Job Responsibilities:+ Develop strong relationships with key constituency media reporters.+ Collaborate with the campaign’s political team to identify influencers within constituency communities and develop messaging guidance.+ Brief in-state talkers and communications stakeholders and produce regular talking point distribution to communications allies in-state.+ Organize and execute regular press events.+ Book surrogates on local outlets to drive key messages.+ Identify and brief surrogates to share personal stories in earned media.+ Staff press events when necessary.+ On-year requirements include working outside of normal work hours; including canvassing and other election preparation as necessary.Qualifications (Required):+ Growth Mindset - Able to take and implement feedback.+ Relentlessly Goal-Oriented - Enjoys working toward and achieving ambitious goals.
