Job Summary
The Service Writer acts as the main point of contact for customers regarding equipment repair and maintains organization within the service department. They handle work orders, customer updates, and assist with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Even Simpler: This job is like being the person who helps people get their machines fixed. You talk to the customers and make sure everything in the shop is running well.
Skill Requirements
:

Organizational skills
to maintain service department operations.
· Familiarity with
One Right Way Processes
or similar quality control procedures.
· Ability to create and manage
Work orders
efficiently.
· Experience with
Purchase orders
, including contacting vendors for equipment procurement.
· Proficiency in a service management system such as
JD Equip system
.
Preferred:
· Knowledge of preparing
Service Technician efficiency reports
.
· Experience processing
Warranty claims
and handling
Product improvement claims
.
Pay Details:
$20.00 to $23.00 per hour
