About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Ads Marketing/Sales Development to own our B2B/advertiser marketing strategy, content, events and execution. You'll work in partnership with the Direct Sales Team to establish our key sales narratives, define priority customer segments, and external content and event strategies. Your focus will be on telling the NewsBreak story in compelling, creative, and impactful ways to advertisers who focus across the sales funnel.

The ideal candidate will think strategically, work collaboratively, and have the ability to balance the big picture with the small details. We are looking to define NewsBreak for advertisers, and you will be at the center of this effort. You are a communications rock star who can turn data into insights, simplify the complex, and drive real results for an advertising sales organization.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own the advertiser marketing strategy and execution across all channels to drive consideration and purchase intentSupport all B2B marketing initiatives and strategies, sales and marketing collateral, digital marketing, social media marketing, sales insights, and customer developmentDevelop and manage ad industry PR efforts and relationshipsCreate and write compelling and persuasive sales tools and communication to help sales teams outreach and pitchManage the brand across social media platforms by creating appropriate B2B focused handles, identities, and contentCoordinate and manage the company's engagement in industry events, conferences, and sponsorshipsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field5+ years of relevant communication strategy/execution experience in a direct sales, B2B organization (bonus points for experience in media/ad sales)Experience in identifying and telling highly data-driven stories gleaned from first- and third-party dataA proven track record of working collaboratively with salesSolid analytical and critical thinking skills with proven expertise in problem solvingOutstanding oral and written communication skills; Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to negotiate event/sponsorship activationBenefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
